Please, let me quickly address this issue :

First, let me start from my area, the entertainment industry specifically the DJ's.
Since after my last post regarding why Dj's should be paid more in an occasion, I have received lots of bashing from friends who said some Ebonyi DJ's does not worth more than 5k for an event. These was their reasons;

1) How can you pay a DJ well, who collects 3 to 4 wedding bookings in one Saturday? Only to show face in one and send apprentice to the others who knows little or nothing about music, let alone sound.
2) Even, when they collect just one booking for an event schedule to start by 1pm, they will arrive the venue by 2 pm then start cutting wires and joining nonsense why the guest sit down and watch in disgust.
3) Some Dj's are so full of themselves that even when they come on time to set sound, they will put a continuous play music after setting and go back home, hang out in beer parlour or even go visit friends in their house with the assumption that, when they are ready, they will call me.
4) How can you pay a DJ well when he will play his only the music he loves abandoning the list giving to him because he considers their list as old school, not trending or perhaps he does not even have it.

Finally, in fact, this point got me thinking too.
Sometimes these DJ's set sound in front of the audience probably on the stage were everybody in the audience sees them, only for them to dress like one hippie, tout, haggard looking fallaciously downhearted human soul. They will even be drinking beer, rushing rice and meat while on duty and you expect them to pay you more than 5k? hippie wedding dress

My brothers, let the change and respect begin from us then client will see reasons to pay us handsomely.
